At the end of an adventurous and enriching day at AstroCamp, your child will come back to our camper cabins. This home away from home is where campers will share experiences with their bunkmates, take responsibility for cleaning up after themselves, and rest up for the next action-packed day. The comfort of your child is a priority in how our cabins are designed. Camp is much more enjoyable when campers have a safe and comfortable place to rest. In our 40+ years of experience, we have learned to take camper comfort very seriously!
AstroCamp cabins have between five and eight bunk beds with mattresses. Campers are required to bring linens or a sleeping bag from home for their bed.
Every cabin has multiple showers. Also, there are several private restrooms and changing areas. Each cabin contains plenty of sinks so campers can take care of all their hygienic needs.
All camper cabins have an assigned counselor who stays with all the campers each night. The counselor is there to oversee cabin activities and get the campers settled in the for the night.
Your camper will be sharing a cabin with children that are in the same age group. Camper cabins house 6-10 campers in each room.
If you would like your child to bunk with a specific roommate, you can make this request when you sign up for camp. We try to make all reasonable accommodations, but roommate requests are not guaranteed. Se our Housing Policies for more details.
